Bruno Rainaldi, born in Milan in 1952, was an Italian self-taught designer. He started working in design communication and collaborated with important Italian companies such as Alivar, Casprini, MDF Italia and Terzani. He founded Studio Rari and started a fruitful collaboration with the Ciatti family, which led to the creation of CCR and later of Opinion Ciatti. In 2002 he opened ENTRATALIBERA, a space dedicated to design in Milan. His creativity and experience in the field have united in the creation of objects, furniture and lamps, including the famous Ptolomeo bookshop that received the Compasso d'Oro in 2004. In 2006, together with Lapo Ciatti, he founded Opinion Ciatti, where he was president, partner and artistic director. Bruno Rainaldi died prematurely in February 2011.
